- 2010-10-25 - Fan Tan Halloween Disco with Eddie C - TWO NIGHTS!Hey y'all, As you may already know, Regalia Boutique is presenting two nights of very excellent fun Saturday, October 30th and Sunday, October 31st, happening in our upstairs studios 16 1/2 & 18 1/2. A very long list of deejays from Victoria and abroad will be accompanying none other than Eddie C! Our dear friend hailing from Banff will be stopping by between San Francisco and Australia to play us the best disco music you have ever heard in this town. PLAY BY THE RULES! Get your tickets in advance at Regalia Boutique (16 Fan Tan) or Street Level Espresso (714 Fort St). There are a few 2 night passes left at Regalia for only $20. Otherwise, single night tickets are $15. THE DOORS ARE AT 9PM - EVERYONE IN BY 11PM!!! NO EXCEPTIONS! And everyone has to be nice, OK? No jerks allowed. - 2010-09-10 - New pieces by KATE KORESKI were delivered today and they are tasty!!!The lovely Kate Koreski popped in today after a four hour drive from Tofino. She brought with her a new assortment of necklaces. They are a smaller version of the piece displayed in this article's picture (which is also available in the shop). Each piece is full of colour... kind of like bubble gum sweets in a candy shop! Mmm! Kate's creations are certainly inspired from her travels between the west coast of British Columbia and the tropical heat of South America. Born and raised in Tofino, BC, Kate began her love of jewelry design at a young age having been taught the art of traditional First Nations beadwork through family and friends. She has since spent much of her time juggling life between Tofino, where she spends her summers, and Chile. This relaxed, colourful lifestyle emerges in her designs. Many of the leathers are sourced in Chile, where an assortment of texture and colours are plentiful. She reflects upon the joy in creating her designs as doing "what [she] always dreamed of!"
